Dear Friends,
When I campaigned for the House of Representatives in 2006, the same issues kept coming up in my conversations - health care, education, and property taxes. With the 2007-2008 legislative session wrapped up on time for the second year in a row, we moved Minnesota forward in each of these critical issues.

We started to undo the damage from the 2003 budget cuts to our K-12 classrooms, invested in early education, and ended double-digit tuition increase at our state’s colleges and universities. We made much needed reforms to our health care system, making health coverage more accessible and affordable. Property tax relief is on the way after we worked together, gaining bipartisan support to pass legislation that will reduce property taxes for most Minnesotans.
